Ponte Finance is a Public Limited Company (PLC) registered in the United Kingdom (CRN: 15859004), specializing in property credit solutions and alternative investments.

Is Ponte regulated by the FCA?

No. Ponte is registered as a PLC and follows the Companies Act 2006 and other UK legislation. Ponte is not authorised or regulated by the FCA. Investments offered are not covered by the FSCS or the Financial Ombudsman Service.

Investing in Shares
How can I buy Ponte shares?

Access the app, choose the number of shares, accept the Terms and the Risk Warning, complete KYC/AML, and make the payment.

What is the share price?

The current price is £2 per share, subject to revision by the board.

Is there a minimum investment in shares?

Yes, £1,000 (500 shares).

Will I receive a share certificate?

Yes. We issue digital certificates and register your participation in Ponte Finance PLC’s shareholder register.

Can I sell my shares later?

Shares can be transferred to third parties under the Companies Act 2006. There is no automatic secondary market, which means limited liquidity. Ponte does not guarantee any buy-back of shares.

Will I receive dividends?

Dividends may be distributed if and when approved by the board of directors. There is no guarantee of payment.

How does share value appreciation work?

The value may rise or fall depending on Ponte’s performance and the market. There are no guarantees of appreciation. Past performance is not a reliable indicator of future results.

Investment Platform
What is Ponte’s Investment Platform?

A digital environment where you can invest in short-term credit operations, all secured by UK real estate.

What returns can I expect?

Suggested annual returns range between 8% and 11%. These returns are not guaranteed.

How are interest payments made?

Interest is paid monthly, subject to the borrower’s ability to pay.

Can I exit before maturity?

No. Investments have fixed terms (normally 6–18 months). Capital is repaid at maturity or in case of early liquidation. Ponte does not guarantee early exit or liquidity.

Are investments secured?

Yes, all are secured by UK property. Security mitigates risk but does not guarantee full repayment.

What is the minimum investment per deal?

Minimums vary, but usually start at £1,000.

AML/KYC & Accounts
Do I need identity verification?

Yes. All investors must complete KYC/AML via iDenfy, providing ID, live selfie, and proof of address.

Can I invest through a company or trust?

Yes, provided corporate documents are submitted and KYB (Know Your Business) checks are completed.

Can I open a joint account?

Yes, but each account holder must pass KYC.

Do you accept international investors?

Yes, provided legal and AML requirements are met. Some countries may have additional restrictions.

Sustainability Standards
What are Ponte’s Sustainability Standards for the 100% Loan product?

Beyond legal and safety requirements, Ponte applies additional sustainability criteria to eligible projects in the 100% Loan product:

Minimum EPC rating: C
Use of clean/renewable energy (e.g., solar panels)
Rainwater harvesting
Proper waste management
Use of certified sustainable materials

Ponte ensures that financed projects meet these criteria, showing our commitment to environmental responsibility and alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

Payments & Operations
What payment methods are accepted?

UK bank transfer (Open Banking), PayPal, and PIX (auto-converted to GBP).

Can I invest in currencies other than GBP?

Yes. We accept BRL and EUR, which are auto-converted into GBP.

Will I receive reports on my investments?

Yes, you will have access to digital statements, certificates, and performance reports through the app.

Risks & Protection
What are the main risks?

Shares: risk of total loss, limited liquidity, no guaranteed dividends, no guaranteed buy-back.

Investment Platform: borrower default, delays in interest payments, risks in enforcement of security, no guarantee of full repayment.

Is there FSCS or Ombudsman protection?

No. None of Ponte’s investments are covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS) or the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS).
